So, you now have your brand new website launched and are wondering just how things work!
Lets have a look, shall we?
Firstly, let’s talk about the ‘Header’.

This is the area at the top of the website where the header bar normally sits. Often referred to as the menu bar.
In desktop view, you will see your logo presented amazingly well, along with the menu items, or various web pages. In mobile view, you will only see a ‘Burger menu’ which is 3 lines on their sides (Horizontally) one above the other. Tap that and the menu will open.

You will see that one of the web pages, or menu items is highlighted or displayed in an other colour making it stand out from the rest. This is the current or ‘Active Page’ that you are one. This helpful little tool may well prevent you from wasting time whilst navigating your website and clicking on the menu item for the page that you are currently sitting on.

Now, as you look over the menu items, some may have a small symbol next to the text. This means that it is a drop down menu item. On our site, we have a top menu item of ‘Prices’ then sub menu items of ‘Get a Quote,’ ‘Management Plans’ and ‘Video Title Sequences.’

In desktop view, when you scroll the web page down either by rolling the central mouse wheel, or by clicking the scroll bar on the side of the web page you will see that the header, or menu bar sticks to the very top of the website. this allows it to be easily found and used anywhere on the page.

Now, take some time to navigate your website, learn to notice the current page menu text colour changes and how the drop down menus are used.
If you feel that anything else should be added here, then please just let us know.
Thank you.
